2 Weeks? 2 Days? She'll Be Here Soon!

OK, Internet, are you ready to hear the progress my lady business has made for Baby Girl to come out? Ready? Ready? Here it goes... I'm 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced. If you don't know what that means, ask someone who's had a baby (your mom?) or Wikipedia.

I had my weekly invasive checkup this morning. If Baby Girl follows suit of her brothers, I'll have to go to the hospital tonight. Labor with Simon started the evening of my checkup between 38 & 39 weeks, and I was sent straight to labor & delivery from my 38 week checkup when I was pregnant with Jonas. At least with this much progress it should be a matter of days rather than weeks until Baby Girl is out.

So now I'm torn between trying to rest up for labor and trying to be as active as I can to get things going quicker. I did venture to Goodwill with the boys to try to find something fun to hang up in our living room, but that was a bust. I also put away most of the boys' cold weather clothes to make it easier to find appropriate clothes in their dresser & closet for them to wear. I do need to put a few more things in the hospital bag, too (ear plugs, snacks to sneak during labor, Arrested Development DVDs...).

I have been having contractions, too, but nothing consistent. That's the way it was with the boys, though. I'll have three within 20-30 minutes and then nothing for an hour or two. I guess I'll just hang out until my water breaks or until they get painful (which doesn't usually happen for me until my water breaks).

So, any guesses on when Baby Girl will come? How big do you think she'll be? Name guesses? (You're not allowed to post a name guess if the name has been leaked to you!)
