After a delayed flight, a half hour or so on the tarmac causing a missed flight, two hours in line to get a new flight, some meal vouchers, spending the night in the Atlanta airport and actually getting to ride the plane when flying stand-by, Chase and I are in New Orleans. (All those people in line missed their flights because of delays, too. That picture was taken a little before midnight.)Here I am being sad that we missed our flight and had to stand in line:
Well, worse things could have happened. We're ready to get a little rest and start our vacation.
