I Guess It's About Time..

I guess it's about time that I make the announcement: I've got a new job!

I now work in the office at my church as the office manager. It's great, and I like it a lot! Not only will I get to work with and learn more from my pastor and other staff members at my church, I'll have less than a five-minute drive, get to meet Chase for lunch whenever we want, have an increase in pay, and I'll get to know members of my church better.

It may not seem so exciting to you, but I'm pretty pumped about it. Through the end of the month I'm doing a couple days here and a couple days at the radio station training a replacement, but come April, I should be full-time at Lakeland.

Congratulations on your new job! Pay raise, closer to home, working with people from church--BONUS!

Working closer to Chase-now you have to eat with lunch with him. Not so bonus.

Jon - Have you seen me eat lunch? It's an awesome experience. That's the reason Alisha took a job closer to home.

I have seen you eat lunch. I think all the "awesome"-ness is on your end only. Ha.

Shelley (the hottie)- Thanks!

Jon- Thanks for the "congratulations." You haven't seen Chase eat lunch lately... To truly stand in awe of his lunch-eating abilities, you'll have to come up for a visit and witness it here! So, you and Beth should come up to witness this amazing lunch eating... and maybe do some visiting with us while you're here...

Chase- Of course that's why I took the job!

Awful long way to drive for lunch, but we'll see. Guess what? Beth's family wants to go to the city the Bears built in Tennessee for a vacation this year. Aren't you jealous? What should we have done that we didn't get to? I have forgotten.

Hmmm... The city that the mythological bears built? Either those bears don't exist, or you have to lure them out with an untethered hot tub cover... Two things to do in Gatlinburg that we didn't do: (1)Skylift and (B)Hillbilly Golf (mini-golf).

You may not see bears in Gatlinburg, but if you come out here you might see skunks AND Chase eating lunch!
